Russia's President Vladimir Putin may be deliberately dragging out the possibility of ending the war in Ukraine. This is according to USA's President Donald Trump in an interview with Newsmax.
I believe that Russia wants to see an end to this, but it could be that they are dragging their feet, says Trump.
He compares the negotiations on a ceasefire with his own time in the real estate industry.
I've done it over the years. You know, I didn't want to sign a contract, I wanted to stay in the game, but maybe I didn't want to do it, says Trump and continues:
But no. I believe that Russia wants to see an end to this. And I believe that (Ukraine's President Volodymyr) Zelenskyj would want to see it.
