In my case, I like to take a lovely shower to take care of my beautiful hair, he said to reporters when the decree was signed in the Oval Office on Wednesday.

I have to stand in the shower for 15 minutes for my hair to get wet. It comes out "drip, drip, drip". It's ridiculous.

By changing the federal definition of showerheads, the White House is stopping what they call the Obama and Biden administrations' "war on water pressure". According to the decree, the restored "shower freedom" is about scrapping unnecessary regulations that stifle the US economy and "putting Americans first".

But the shower issue has haunted Trump for a long time. With the presidential order, Trump is fulfilling a long-term goal, according to Politico.

My hair... I don't know how you feel, but mine has to be perfect, he said outside the White House in 2020.

In June last year, he returned to the subject.

When I shower, I want this beautiful hair to flow. I buy the best products available and pour them all over. Then I turn on the water – and the damn water only comes out in drops.
