The new plane is intended to replace one of the Boeing 747 aircraft that have been used by U.S. presidents for decades.
Qatar's gift of the plane has raised ethical, constitutional and security concerns. Trump has previously said it would be "stupid" to reject the gift, which is valued at several billion kronor, and has repeatedly praised the Qatari emir for the decision to donate the plane.
Trump describes the plane as "a flying White House" with a "level of luxury like no one has ever seen before."
