The President began the Asian trip late on Friday evening, local time. During the visit, he will meet with China's President Xi Jinping in South Korea. Kim Jong-Un has, however, demanded that North Korea be recognized as a nuclear power in order for them to talk to the USA. On board the President's plane Air Force One, Donald Trump says that North Korea "is kind of a nuclear power”.

Trump will also visit Malaysia and Japan during the trip, which is his first to the continent since he moved into the White House again in January.
