The earliest the International Football Federation (FIFA) can give the United States the World Cup is 2038, but Trump has a plan for how he would handle the "anger" if the United States becomes the host country again.
"Introduce us again next time, and then another country after that. It takes away some of the anger and shock," Trump said before the kickoff of the final.
Given the numbers, we will apply for it again immediately.
The final was Trump's first match on site during the World Cup, and it all ended with him and FIFA President Gianni Infantino being booed when they presented the World Cup trophy.
Correction: An earlier version stated the wrong age for Donald Trump. The correct age is 80.
