Taiwan has agreed to buy 30 percent of the gas that comes through the pipeline over the next 20 years, Trump said at a campaign rally in Alaska on Tuesday, local time.
The fossil gas pipeline is planned to be around 1,300 kilometers long and run between northern and southern Alaska.
