In a speech during Tuesday night's dinner, the American president talked about the Iran war and claimed that the United States has defeated Iran militarily. He then said:
We will never let that adversary - and Charles agrees, even more than I do - we will never let that adversary have a nuclear weapon.
On Wednesday morning, Buckingham Palace commented on the matter to the BBC, emphasizing that King Charles is following the government's line.
The King is, of course, aware of his government's long-standing and well-known position on preventing nuclear proliferation, says a spokesperson.
