The Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is to meet India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week.
This was announced by the former president at an election rally in Michigan on Tuesday. Trump criticized India for its trade, but at the same time said that Modi was "fantastic".
He happens to come to meet me next week, Trump said to the audience without giving further details.
Modi is traveling to President Joe Biden's hometown of Wilmington in the state of Delaware over the weekend, due to a summit where Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will also participate.
