We will talk about territories, said Trump to reporters on the presidential plane Air Force One on Monday about the announced conversation with Putin.
Trump further stated that much work had been done over the weekend and described the conversation with Putin as partly dealing with "dividing up certain assets", including territories and power plants.
Ukraine has accepted an American proposal to first initiate a ceasefire and then continue the negotiations, but simultaneously warned that Putin is not actually interested in stopping the attacks on the country.
