The President of the USA, Donald Trump, has pardoned Ross Ulbricht, the founder behind the notorious site Silk Road where illegal drugs and other goods could be traded under the protection of anonymity, reports American media.
Ulbricht was arrested in 2013 in San Francisco and was sentenced in 2015 to two life sentences plus an additional 40 years in prison.
Trump promised already during the election campaign to pardon Ulbricht.
