Rice, who was national security adviser under President Barack Obama, has angered Trump with her comments about companies that have shown support for him.
"They (the companies) will be held accountable if the Democrats take over again. If they think the Democrats will play by the old rules, they are mistaken," she said.
The conflict comes at an inconvenient time for Netflix, which is trying to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, while Paramount has made a hostile bid. The deal, however, needs approval from the US Department of Justice on the grounds that it could give Netflix too much market dominance.
