The President of the USA, Donald Trump, claims that negotiations are underway between Israel and the terrorist-stamped Hamas. On Friday, he stated that an agreement on a new ceasefire in Gaza may be on the way as early as next week.

On Sunday, information from government sources to the news agency AP emerged that Ron Dermer, top advisor to Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, will travel to Washington the coming week for talks about a ceasefire with the terrorist-stamped Hamas in Gaza.

According to the same source, a US visit is planned for Netanyahu sometime during the coming weeks.

Many opportunities have opened up now after the victory. First of all, what applies to saving the hostages, said Netanyahu to employees within the security service during Sunday.

We must of course solve the Gaza issue and defeat Hamas, but I assess that we can achieve both goals, he added.

Trump repeated during the night to Sunday, Swedish time, his demand that the Israeli judicial system should drop the corruption charges against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to Trump, the legal process disrupts Netanyahu's work.

”What is important is that he is currently negotiating an agreement with Hamas, which will include getting the hostages back”, writes Trump on the platform Truth Social.
