Donald Trump will be in the stands when the Super Bowl is decided at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sunday, confirms the White House.
The 78-year-old will thus be the first sitting American president to attend the final of the American football league NFL. The first Super Bowl match was played in January 1967.
Kansas City Chiefs, who are chasing their fourth title in six years and their third in a row, will face Philadelphia Eagles in a replay of the 2023 final, which Chiefs won 38–35.
Rap star Kendrick Lamar is the main artist during the halftime show.
The NFL final starts at 00.30 Swedish time, on Monday morning.
