Truls Möregårdh advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Darko Jorgic of Slovenia 4-2 in sets.
The Slovenian took the first set, while Truls Möregårdh dominated the next two. The match then swung back and forth before the Swede clinched it in the sixth set.
"I feel like I have the game. I've beaten three very good opponents now, it's been a tough draw," Möregårdh told SVT Sport after the match.
A moment later, Anton Källberg also advanced after a dramatic turnaround against world number six Alexis Lebrun. The Frenchman led 3-1 in sets, but the Swede managed to pull off a big comeback and won the match 4-3, including after saving two match points in the sixth set.
"I really didn't think I would turn it around. He was just better than me at the beginning. But I fought on and never gave up," Källberg said in the victory interview.
Möregårdh now faces Tomokazu Harimoto of Japan in the semifinals. Källberg will face the winner of Sora Matsushima of Japan and Hugo Calderano of Brazil. The semifinals will be played on Sunday.
