Last year was a success with an all-Swedish podium in the big GP class. This year, the margins were not with the Swedish riders at the Stockholm International horse show in the Strawberry arena.

No Swedish team managed to make it to the jump-off.

Henrik von Eckermann on Calizi was closest and only a time error separated him from a place when everything was decided. He became the best Swede in eighth place.

Both the in-form Peder Fredricson on Vroom de La Pomme and Petronella Andersson on Odina Van Klapscheut tore through the very last obstacle.

Fredricson and Vroom took home the GP class last year.

Erika Lickhammer-van Helmond and her horse Comme Tessa crashed straight through an obstacle – but both rider and horse survived and were able to get off the course under their own power.

According to SVT, the competition's press officer Matilda Hjertstrand announces that they are "doing well under the circumstances."

The victory went to Belgian Gilles Thomas on Chuck Marienshof Z who rode flawlessly and was just over seven tenths ahead of second place Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, Brazil, on Charly Heart.
