The outages have been reported to the Downdetector website overnight. Readers have contacted both Expressen and Aftonbladet, reporting that "the money is gone" and that various accounts are showing empty or incorrect balances.
After a few hours, a message appeared in Avanza's app:
"We are currently having trouble displaying all account values. This is a display error. Troubleshooting is ongoing."
Avanza CEO Gustaf Unger tells Aftonbladet:
This is of course very sad and unfortunate. We are currently troubleshooting and trying to resolve it as quickly as possible.
