P4 Östergötland reviewed accounts and comments in its comment sections and found that just over 40 percent were negative about Ukraine's JAS deal or spread Russian disinformation.
In comments from those accounts, Zelenskyy was called, among other things, a beggar, a drug addict, and a Nazi.
The review also shows that around fifty of the 195 accounts that commented in support of Russia are very likely troll accounts. Among other things, the review identified which accounts have AI-generated images.
The amount and intensity of the comments seem to give the impression that there is a strong popular opinion against Zelenskyy and against Ukraine, says Patrik Oksanen, who has written books about Russian hybrid warfare, on the radio.
