Some packs of 24 cans of Trocadero Zero may contain single cans of strong beer, Spendrups writes in a press release.
However, the actual contents of the cans of soft drink are correct, the company emphasizes.
Spendrups is now recalling this type of carton, which was sold at Lidl and Dollarstore, but has now been removed from store shelves.
"We take the incident very seriously," Spendrups writes in the press release, stating that it has initiated an investigation to ensure that similar mistakes do not happen again.
The recall applies to cartons with a best-before date of 22/7/2027.
