A long-range shot, a close-range shot and an ice-cold finish when the match was in the balance.

Felicia Schröder showed off her full range when she led Häcken to a historic title with a 3–2 (4–2 aggregate) win against Hammarby in the European Cup final.

However, the 19-year-old herself prefers to praise her leading team captain.

"It's thanks to Anna," says Felicia Schröder.

"And the whole team, of course. But she's the one who puts the ball in front of me. She has an incredible sense for the ball. I have to thank her especially."

The three-goal scorer smiles wearily as she is surrounded in the interview zone. But her smile cracks when the medal and the historic title come up.

"It's incredible that we get to do it with the audience behind us as extra players," she says.

"But I can't really describe it yet, it's crazy. I can't really put it into words."

Soon lost?

In total over the two finals, Felicia Schröder scored four goals - that is, all of Häcken's goals. It's hard to talk yourself out of it, notes Anna Anvegård.

"It's incredible, of course. Maybe that's the difference between us and 'Bajen', that we have perhaps one of the most exciting strikers in the world," she says.

"She is absolutely one of the best in the world right now, I would say, even though she is so young."

How long do you think you can keep her at Häcken before she moves abroad?

"After this performance, maybe not for long, but we can take the opportunity to enjoy playing with such a player," says Anna Anvegård.

"And everyone in the stands gets to enjoy that we have such a good striker."

“One of the best”

Häcken coach Elena Sadiku joins the chorus of praise.

"She's one of the best I've coached. An extraordinary finisher," she says.

"She knows exactly where to put the ball."
