Trial against former SD member Katja Nyberg postponed

The prosecutor has requested more time after receiving statements from the defense.

"It is very remarkable that I received his statement a few days before the main hearing," prosecutor Anders Jakobsson writes, according to Expressen.

Nyberg is suspected of drunk driving, drug offenses and aggravated driving after being stopped in a car in the middle of the day. She admits to driving while intoxicated but denies the other charges.

Katja Nyberg has left the Sweden Democrats.
