Sweden, who were eliminated by Switzerland in the quarterfinals of this year's World Cup, will be in Group A in Mannheim and will also face hosts Germany.
Further north, in Düsseldorf, the second group will be decided.
Group A: Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Latvia, Austria, Slovenia, Ukraine.
Group B: Canada, USA, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Denmark, Norway, Kazakhstan, Hungary.
The tournament will be held May 14–30, 2027.
