Tre Kronor's men are doing the same as the women's team and concluding their first full Olympic training session. "It feels like a sporting advantage not to give away too much information," says national team captain Sam Hallam.

Tre Kronor's women closed a training session last week ahead of the opener; now the men are doing the same during their first real training session this afternoon ahead of Wednesday's Italian opener.

The team had a lighter training session on Sunday, mostly to recover from the long flight from North America.

We'll get a chance to practice some special teams (power play and penalty kill) today. We'll get some peace and quiet in the arena, then we'll have an open practice tomorrow.

Closed practices are unusual in ice hockey, and Hallam says it is an organizational issue at the Olympics.
