Two defenders were missing from Tre Kronor's training session the day before the Olympic semi-final against the USA - Mira Jungåker and Jenna Raunio. Their absences were safety measures, national coach Ulf Lundberg said.

The remaining players trained with just over a day left until Swedish women's hockey's biggest match in twelve years.

It's been so long since the Damkronorna played a championship semi-final - even that time was at the Olympics.

Lundberg on why the duo was missing:

With so many matches in just a few days, there are flaws left and right.

Is it quiet until tomorrow?

"Yes, I really hope so," Lundberg says.

Jenna Raunio was available for interviews and downplayed the fact that she was resting from ice training.

"I'm one hundred percent ready for the match," says Jungåker, who has averaged almost 23 minutes of playing time per match, the second most on the team.
