Many Swedish charter tourists have been stranded in the Middle East and Asia since airspace was closed because of the war.
Now the first of Tui's travelers can leave the region as early as Tuesday.
The first flights operated by Gulf Airlines are expected to depart today, Tui's communications manager, Anne Mørk-Løwengreen, tells Dagbladet.
It is too early to say whether any Swedish travelers will be allowed to leave during the evening.
Apollo and Ving are also reviewing the options available to fly travelers home. Anna Hagberg, press communicator at Ving, tells Expressen that the company is in close dialogue with the airlines that have been able to start flying again "to look at possible solutions."
