Transport was sued by the Swedish Motor Transport Employers' Association (BA) for breaching the notice requirement in connection with the union's notification of a blockade in December 2023.
"The notice was clear as to which member companies of the employers' organization, and which employees, were covered by the notice. According to the Labor Court, the notice was also clear as to which work tasks were affected by the notice," the court ruled.
Transport believes that the notice was clear and correctly drafted.
"The verdict is expected and important," said the federation's chairman, Tommy Wreeth, in a press release.
