An operator at the rescue services' command center told TT at 11:30 p.m. that they had to help two people out of the car.
SOS Alarm later told TT that three people were taken to hospital by ambulance.
The driver complained of pain and the other two were taken to hospital for examination, says Göran Carlbom, police officer on duty, to Göteborgs-Posten.
The accident occurred at Grönsakstorget just before 11 p.m. on Friday.
