Train Service Resumes South of Stockholm After Temporary Halt

This afternoon's stop in train traffic between Flemingsberg and Södertälje south is over. The Swedish Transport Administration reports that traffic has been up and running again since just before 6:00 pm.

The stop affected, among other things, train traffic on the routes to Malmö and Göteborg, as well as several routes north of Stockholm.

Delays may still occur on affected routes.

The alarm about the incident came at 15:50 on Thursday after a train driver feared having run over someone or something.
