An electrical fault between Arlanda and Uppsala stopped train traffic on Sunday evening.

All trains coming from the south and passing through Uppsala are affected and are standing still, Leila Fagerholm at SJ's press office told TT earlier in the evening.

According to Upsala Nya Tidning, a contact wire collapsed on a train at Knivsta station. The train has been evacuated.

The incident occurred at 19:10. At 20:30, the Swedish Transport Administration announced that traffic was back on track.
