At least 25 people died and 26 were injured in Bolivia when their bus crashed into a ravine on Monday, after colliding with a smaller truck.
The accident occurred about nine miles north of the city of Potosi and among the victims were people on their way home from a popular carnival in Oruro.
This is the second fatal bus accident in the Potosi region in the southern part of the country within a few days. On Saturday, at least 37 people were killed when two buses collided near the city of Uyuni. On that occasion, it was passengers on their way to the carnival in Oruro who were killed.
