The police were notified of the accident at 00:27 on Saturday night. A tractor-trailer had overturned on road 635 in Borlänge municipality with around 20 people on board.
The latest we know is that five people have been taken away by ambulance, but there could be more. We are still at the scene, says Olga Åkerblad, duty officer at the police.
According to the police, the people involved are of mixed ages, from around 20 years old to 50 years old.
The police have opened an investigation into causing bodily harm and negligence in traffic. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
