It had not been requested any train stop for the track work that two workers performed at the goods yard in Malmö when they were run over by an Öresundståg, reports P4 Malmöhus.
A 25-year-old man died and a 30-year-old man was seriously injured in the accident that occurred at the end of April.
Why the train had a green light to drive at the same time as the track work was ongoing will be investigated.
The police are investigating the incident as gross workplace offense, but there is not yet anyone who is suspected.
