The single and its video featuring 70 dancers will be released on May 13 and Tove Lo addresses listeners in a press release: "I know you've waited a long time, and I hope it was worth the wait. It was for me!"
The video was shot in a former monastery outside São Paulo, Brazil.
"Estrus", which will be released on September 18, means "heat," she emphasizes in the press release.
"It's primal. It's my mind and my body wanting different things, wanting everything," she says.
On the new album, she collaborates with, among others, Belgian artist Stromae.
