Solberg received the tough news just before this week's World Rally Championship event in Portugal.
"Now I'm going to drive in the rally, so I'll tackle the problem next week. It's just a matter of applying again and hoping for another person who thinks it's right," Solberg said in a digital interview ahead of the rally.
Due to the rejections, the couple has been forced to postpone the wedding until next summer.
Solberg does not want to move to another country.
"I like living in the forest, but maybe I don't have a choice," said the Värmlander.
After ten of 23 stages, the Swede is fourth, 16.4 seconds behind leader Sébastien Ogier of France.
