"I've probably never been so tired in my legs," Rosenberg told SVT.
The Swedes were unable to challenge for the podium places in the final in Goms, Switzerland.
Germany won, ahead of two Norwegian teams. Sweden was 46 seconds behind the winners.
Olympic-qualified Johanna Hagström was originally supposed to compete with Moa Lundgren. But Lundgren woke up with cold symptoms and therefore withdrew from the entire World Cup weekend.
Märta Rosenberg was then moved to Hagström's team, while Evelina Crüsell was left alone in team 2. Sweden chose not to fill that gap and dropped the team.
Sprint stars Emma Ribom and Linn Svahn were on the squad in Goms, but chose to compete this weekend instead.
