After winning the home opener against Gais 3–1, Malmö FF suffered a 2–3 home loss to Sirius.
Despite away wins in Stockholm (1–0 against both Djurgården and AIK), MFF doesn't seem to have its home games in order yet in the Allsvenskan.
Against reigning champions Mjällby, the visitors came out stronger and took the lead early when striker Jacob Bergström headed the ball in from close range.
The second half was a goal feast, with Elliot Stroud first increasing Mjällby's lead. Bergström's second of the day then made it 3–1, and Malmö never came closer than Sead Haksabanovic's goal.
MFF is fifth in the Allsvenskan table. Mjällby is sixth with the same number of points.
