Tottenham took a big grip on the semifinal by winning 3–1 against Norwegian Bodø/Glimt.
Lucas Bergvall was missing from the starting lineup. He was seen instead with crutches and an orthopedic shoe on one foot. Coach Ante Postecoglou reported that the 19-year-old Swede had sprained his foot during training.
Dejan Kulusevski was substituted in the 65th minute.
In the other semifinal, Manchester United defeated Athlétic Bilbao 3–0 away. Victor Nilsson Lindelöf played the entire match for United.
