"Production has been halted or is about to be halted in Qatar, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates, which together account for 15 percent of our total production," the company said in a statement.
At the same time, the company said the production interruption is being offset by higher oil prices, which have risen sharply due to the war.
Total Energies is one of the world's largest producers of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and also has operations in oil and renewable energy.
