Juventus and Manchester City are two major clubs that have underperformed in the Champions League. The downturn continues for Pep Guardiola and his players. Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie ensured that "Juve" took three important points.

Next up for City is Paris SG – another top club that has faced difficulties this autumn – away from home.

Raphinha and Ferran Torres gave Barcelona the lead each time away against Dortmund. As Serhou Guirassy equalized twice, the top match looked set to end in a draw.

But in the 85th minute, Torres decided the match.

Barcelona second in the table

Barcelona is second in the table with 15 points, three behind leaders Liverpool. Arsenal is third among a group of teams on 13 points.

Gabriel Jesus has struggled to score goals. Arsenal's striker has only scored one goal in 18 matches this season. The Brazilian missed two excellent opportunities at home against Monaco, but made up for it with the assist for Bukayo Saka's leading goal.

Jesus was not alone in his goal drought. Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Ødegaard were in the same company.

A defensive blunder in the end opened up for Saka's second goal in the 3–0 win.

Rafael Leão ensured that Milan took the lead at home on San Siro, but Nemanja Radonjic equalized for Red Star after the break. With only minutes left, Tammy Abraham made it 2–1 for Milan.

Feyenoord improved their chances of reaching the round of 16 by defeating Sparta Prague 4–2 in Rotterdam.

The match between Stuttgart and Young Boys had a sad undertone. Striker Meschack Elia was missing from the away team since he had received the news that one of his sons had passed away after a long illness.

Stuttgart won 5–1.

Gudmundsson's substitute appearance

Gabriel Gudmundsson can, as Christmas approaches, look back on a strong autumn season in Lille and in the national team.

But at home against Sturm Graz, he had to start on the bench.

It still went well for Lille. With the national team defender on the pitch from the 68th minute, Lille decided the match and won 3–2.

Atlético Madrid took a step towards the playoffs by defeating Slovan Bratislava 3–1 at home. The Slovakian club is stuck in 35th and next-to-last place in the table. Only Young Boys are worse. After six straight losses, the door is closed to the playoffs for both clubs.

Two rounds remain in the group stage.
