The winds of change continue to blow in Toronto. Less than two weeks ago, Swedish club legend Mats Sundin was announced as a senior advisor to new general manager John Chayka. And now the duo has chosen to part ways with coach Craig Berube.

The 60-year-old, who led St. Louis to the Stanley Cup title in 2019, took over as Toronto's coach last season. He led the team to the playoffs that year, but this season things have been much tougher.

"This decision is more about changing the organization and getting a fresh start," general manager John Chayka told the team's website.

Swedes William Nylander, Calle Järnkrok and Oliver Ekman-Larsson play for Toronto.
