Handy, who also appeared in several TV series such as "Melrose Place" and "New York City," was fatally stabbed in Los Angeles on June 3. The suspected killer is 44-year-old Michael Gledhill, the son of Handy's girlfriend. Gledhill reportedly confessed at the scene and was arrested. Handy was 81.
