Tandrevold could start training shortly after the successful operation on December 18. Norwegian national team coach Per Arne Botnan confirms to NTB that the biathlon star is participating from the start when the World Cup resumes in Oberhof.

Of course, she's participating. It's going to be full speed ahead here, says Botnan.

Tandrevold traveled with the Norwegian team to Germany on Monday and on Tuesday, she completed a tougher training session.

She was back in training pretty quickly (after the operation) and she has trained well throughout the Christmas and New Year's period. So far, it has worked well since she started training again, says Botnan to NTB.

Aside from the sprint for both men and women, pursuit starts and relays are awaiting during the week in Oberhof.
