There is turmoil at Linköping HC. Last week, sports director Peter Jakobsson was fired. Now, assistant sports director Tony Mårtensson is also leaving.

Former LHC players Broc Little and Jonas Junland replace Mårtensson.

"Now it is important that new energy comes in," Mårtensson tells the club's website.

The club says it is developing a clear requirements specification focused on long-term solutions for the club.

"The fact that we have been able to appoint Little and Junland on an interim basis gives us the opportunity to work long-term and in a structured way on recruiting the sporting management for the coming seasons," says CEO and club director Carl-Johan Stålhammar.

Mårtensson has played a total of six seasons as a player for the club.
