Political heavyweight Tony Blair also calls Labour's ongoing internal struggle a "self-deception" in an open letter. He warns the party could be plunged into an even deeper crisis if incumbent Prime Minister Keir Starmer is ousted at a time when the government lacks a "coherent plan" for the country.
There are fundamental problems within the party that risk leading to a loss for Labour in the next general election, writes Blair.
"Trying to force the Prime Minister out before we know what our political direction is, is not a serious way to act," writes Tony Blair.
