Tomas Tranströmer received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2011. Now his Nobel Prize medal is being donated to the Nobel Prize Museum, according to a press release.

Tomas Tranströmer (1931-2015) is considered one of the greatest poets of our time. At the end of February, his wife, Monica Tranströmer, will donate her husband's Nobel Prize medal and diploma to the Nobel Prize Museum during a ceremony.

The evening begins with a conversation about his writing between Monica Tranströmer and the museum's Carin Klaeson, followed by actor Staffan Göthe reading Tranströmer's poems.

The ceremony will take place on February 27 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nobel Prize Museum in Gamla stan, Stockholm.
