New "Mission: impossible – The final reckoning" gets its world premiere at the festival, confirms the festival.
It is the eighth film in the series and a direct sequel to "Mission: impossible – Dead reckoning" from 2023.
The cinema premiere is set for May 21, right in the middle of the festival, which this year takes place between May 13 and 24. But already on May 14, the film will be shown at the festival and the film's stars will walk the red carpet. The film is shown out of competition.
Juliette Binoche is the jury chairperson at this year's festival, where Robert De Niro will receive an honorary Golden Palm for his long career.
