The Tokyo stock exchange continues to increase and hits a record for the second day in a row during Tuesday's trading.

At lunchtime, the Japanese Nikkei 225 index had risen by 0.7 percent. The increase occurs in the wake of Monday's increases on Wall Street, which was lifted by an agreement between the technology companies Open AI and AMD.

Among today's winners on the Tokyo Stock Exchange are semiconductor-related companies such as Advantest and Renesas Electronics, up 2.7 percent and 4.6 percent respectively.

The stock exchanges in China, South Korea and Hong Kong are closed due to holidays.
