Tobias Karlsson, 43, is back in the national handball team. From May 1, he is team manager – the same role he had during the World Championship and Olympic Games 2021.
"It feels really fun to get the trust to work together with fantastic players and leaders", he says in a press release.
He will complement the national team captain Michael Apelgren and the assistant national team captain Patrik Fahlgren over the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, 2028.
Tobias Karlsson has won three national championships, two German league championships, one Champions League title. He has played 180 international matches and took Olympic silver in 2012.
