Ten years ago, Titiyo released the self-biographically colored album "13 gården". She is now returning to the track – but this time with interpretations of others' songs.
"It's always emotional to record an album, but this time it became even more pronounced. There are such strong songs that all express so much, but also because I've gone through a tough time where I've been forced to feel and get to the bottom of things", says the artist in a press release.
The first single from the album is "Sakta lägger båten ut från land", originally a song by Bob Dylan, but in translation by Mikael Wiehe from his album "Sjömansvisor". Titiyo has already sung the song before, but then in English.
"Hemland" is released on September 26. The concert tour starts the same day in Kristianstad.
Tour plan: 26/9 Kristianstad, 27/9 Malmö, 4/10 Västerås, 8/10 Stockholm, 11/10 Falun, 17/10 Norrköping, 18/10 Göteborg, 25/10 Nyköping, 15/11 Östersund, 16/11 Sundsvall
