They sang together on the Thåström song ”Papperstunna väggar”. Now Titiyo and Thåström are doing a new dream duet. The single ”Gnistrande snö” is released on Friday.
The song is an interpretation of Ulf Dageby's classic which was one of the soundtracks on Stefan Jarl's film ”Ett anständigt liv”.
Titiyo got to know Dageby during TV4's ”Så mycket bättre 2013 and ever since then she has wanted to do something more with or by him. Ulf Dageby knew that she would record ”Gnistrande snö", but never got to hear the result before he passed away.
”Singing it with Thåström just feels obvious, partly because we have found some kind of musical siblinghood and also because he has previously interpreted Dageby”, says Titiyo in a press release.
”Gnistrande snö” will be included on the album ”Hemland” which is released on September 26. It will be followed by a large concert hall tour that starts on the same day as the album release.
