According to Georgian authorities, Simon Leviev, or Shimon Yehuda Hayut as he is actually called, could be arrested at Batumi airport, writes the news agency AFP. The reason for the arrest is however unclear.
Leviev became known after a documentary on Netflix examined his frauds against women in, among other places, Sweden between 2017 and 2019.
He was sentenced in 2019 to 15 months in prison for fraud, but was released after five.
Most recently last year, a woman sued him for the equivalent of just over one million kronor after he had not repaid a debt. A former girlfriend has also accused Leviev of psychological and physical abuse, writes BBC.
